OUR SCHOOLS

Sandy Springs has excellent public schools as attested to the many awards received by all of the schools throughout the years. The schools are arranged in two clusters such that the elementary and middle schools feed into the high schools. There are a total of eleven public schools in Sandy Springs with over 8,000 students: 7 Elementary Schools. 2 Middle Schools and 2 High Schools.

AFTER-SCHOOL ALL-STARS

After-School All-Stars gets HIGH MARKS for Academic ImprovementASAS Graph

SSEF, with the help of Fulton County Schools, evaluated the After-School All-Stars Program at Sandy Springs Charter Middle School.

In English Lang., participants improved 10% more than nonparticipants. ASAS students improved 3.8% more in Math, 5.0% in Reading, and 9.6% more in Science. 

Two year participants improved their English Arts scores 15.4% more than their counterparts who only participated for one year. They scored 12.7% higher in Math, 21.5% higher in Reading and 19.6% higher in Science than those who only participated for one year in ASAS.
