Another Year of Helping Our Most 
In-Need Students Make the Grade

SSEF's Numbers Speak for Themselves!

4000 - 

students participated in 14 SSEF programs and events
900 -  students attended our award-winning STEM Event
6 -  schools received SSEF STEM Grants last school year and 9 will receive them this year
205 -  community volunteers and mentors engaged with our kids in our 11 public schools
1,900 -  economically disadvantaged students received school supplies saving teachers $8450
14,000 -  books were distributed to students at 3 Title 1 schools through Mini Libraries
300 -  books were given to their teachers
...  and these are just the highlights!

The good news: More of our economically disadvantaged students are staying in school and graduating from 5th grade, 8th grade and 12th grade!

Sandy Springs has excellent public schools as attested to the many awards received by all of the schools throughout the years. The schools are arranged in two clusters such that the elementary and middle schools feed into the high schools. There are a total of eleven public schools in Sandy Springs with over 8,000 students: 7 Elementary Schools. 2 Middle Schools and 2 High Schools.
