The City of
Sandy Springs has been named one of the wealthiest
cities in the US - and yet, a disparity exists
within our distinctive and diverse municipality.
More than 50% of our public school children are
economically disadvantaged, correlating with a high
drop-out rate for these students. The impact for our
community is undeniable.
Sandy Springs Education Force (SSEF)
believes that a solution exists: supporting our
public schools and our students can make the
difference between everyone's success and failure.
Our future --residential,
economic, and quality of life-- depends on our
students' educational accomplishments. If our kids
achieve, our city will thrive and grow.
In an effort to support our public
schools and our students, SSEF actively engages the
resources of our civic leaders, community
stakeholders, and businesses to deliver supplemental
programs and services in our eleven public schools.
The Sandy Springs Education
Force Vision is to be the model of excellence for
creating community collaboratives that support
educational and enrichment opportunities for public
school students’ success throughout their academic
school years and beyond.
