You are invited to join us for our 11th Annual STEAM Showcase, to be presented virtually on March 17, 2021. We are seeking exhibitors and sponsors for this important event!
With your help, we are able to provide opportunities to enhance STEAM education and to help spark interest and enthusiasm in science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics for over 6,000 students!
During this extremely challenging year, we pivoted and are running our programs either in person or virtually. Our targeted outreach programs are unique, engaging learning environments students would never otherwise experience. SSEF depends solely on the financial support of individual, corporate and foundation donors and sponsors to provide these opportunities, and we depend on exhibitors to make our event a success.
Exhibitor Information
On March 17, 2021, the 11th Annual STEAM Showcase will be a virtual event. In this new, online format, exhibitors will share a link to a pre-recorded, 3- to 5-minute video outlining their organizations, programs and products related to STEAM. The videos should help students understand how science, technology, engineering, arts or math are relevant to the organization’s work. In addition, exhibitors may lead live, virtual sessions to discuss their work with participants and may wish to provide a link to additional written material for students to learn more. We encourage exhibitors to sign up to present live virtual sessions for the entire school day on March 17th, but we can accommodate anyone who wishes to participate for only the morning or afternoon. Live sessions are 5- to 10-minute presentations that repeat during the day. This is also a time for students to ask questions.
We expect several thousand high school and middle school students will attend the virtual STEAM Showcase. In addition, SSEF will feature sponsors and exhibitors prominently on our website, social media and other communications and will highlight the videos and online materials on our website long after the 11th STEAM Showcase is over. Participating as a sponsor or exhibitor is a wonderful opportunity to get buzz for your business or to connect with your next intern or new hire!
Sponsor Information
Sponsors ensure Sandy Springs Education Force can continue to create targeted programs that educate, inspire and prepare public school students in Sandy Springs for a competitive world!
Several examples of our STEAM programs running this school year include:
- The First Robotics program at North Springs High School. The “SpartaBots” won first place in a remote regional competition for the Design Award and third place for the all-around and will advance to compete at the state level.
- Riverwood High School’s “Save the Honeybee” Apiary is in full swing. Students are maintaining beehives, studying the importance of pollinators to our ecosystem in this hands-on experience housed in their campus garden.
- Ison Springs Elementary’s STEAM Club is offering 4th and 5th graders the chance to use Micro:bits to learn how to code in conjunction with a special on-line program offered in partnership with AT&T.
100% of the sponsorships for the annual STEAM Showcase support materials, tools and resources that enable public school students in Sandy Springs to participate in these and other after-school programs, robotics teams and clubs, college/technical school prep and more. Thank you for being a positive force in our children’s futures!
The STEAM Showcase is a technology and arts exhibition of interesting and unique opportunities for all ages. You don’t want to miss the opportunity to be involved in helping ignite the dreams of our future workforce! Learn how you can become a sponsor or exhibitor via the links below.
