Why We Do What We Do...

Sandy Springs has high achieving students and award winning public schools. However, almost 60% of our public school students are economically disadvantaged.

Poor children are 7 times more likely to drop out of school than their wealthy counterparts. Last year, over 140 Sandy Springs seniors (20%) did not graduate high school.

Expanding the Educational Horizons of Our Diverse Students for a Diverse World!

Our Programs

Imagine how much more our schools and our students could accomplish if every child had the resources to overcome obstacles and reach their potential? SSEF provides collaborative programs to bridge the gap between student needs and academic achievement. You can help!

Our Programs

SSEF implements programs with a "whole student" focus: providing each individual with the opportunity to explore and develop new skills and interests that enriches daily life and supports future achievement and success.
