SSEF established the School Liaison Council (SLC) to help facilitate awareness of and increased participation in SSEF activities and projects within our school communities. This group provides SSEF insights about issues and ideas that ensure optimal academic success for all Sandy Springs students. The Council is comprised of as many as 3 individuals (2 parents and 1 staff member) from each of our 11 Sandy Springs public schools. Principals select SLC members to serve on the Council based on their ability to help SSEF build a sense of community within and among our public schools in Sandy Springs. SLC members interact with and impact business leaders, educational leaders, school board members, other Council members, and SSEF Board members while supporting public education in Sandy Springs. The Council meets quarterly and members receive monthly updates about the SSEF activities and programs.
