Sandy Springs Education Force has been at the forefront of supporting the educational successes of financially vulnerable students in Sandy Springs for over a decade. With support from our sponsors, we provide targeted educational outreach programs that make a difference for public school students in Sandy Springs. In the past few years, we created new programs and adapted to address pandemic-related needs.
For example, we expanded our successful Summer Book Club to ensure students did not lose their reading gains over the summer break, launched a very successful tutoring program and kept engaged with our community during these challenging times. Students are still facing vast educational gaps, especially children whose families have limited financial means. Thank you for supporting our race. You helped us continue our work helping to bridge the gap for students. We look forward to seeing you at our 2023 Lightning Run!
