SANDY SPRINGS, GA — Organizers with Sandy Springs Education Force are gearing up for the 7th Annual STEAM Showcase.
The event will return to North Springs Charter High School from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. March 15, and attendees can expect to see interactive exhibits where participants can discover the exciting, fast-changing worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.
The event is part of the organization’s multi-faceted outreach program designed to challenge, inspire and support Sandy Springs public school students’ pursuit of STEAM education and careers.
In 2014 and 2015, SSEF’s showcase was awarded first place at the STEM Education Awards of Georgia, sponsored by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the TAG Education Collaborative (TAG-Ed).
Next month’s event is free and open to the public, and gives citizens a chance to learn about the STEAM initiatives underway at Sandy Springs’ 11 public schools. You will also be able to network with community, education, business and government leaders.
North Springs Charter High School is located at 7447 Roswell Road. To learn more about Sandy Springs Education Force and the event, visit www.sandyspringseducationforce.org. You can follow SSEF on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #SSEFGa.
